Job Title: Application Systems Analyst

This role is eligible to work from home within the Sutter Health Northern California footprint.

Job Summary:

Leads business or clinical applications implementation projects related to design, development, and optimization for all types of electronic health records (EHR) integration including Epic and ancillary systems, and non-EHR integration between other types of business and clinical applications.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Coordinates cross-functional teams and resources throughout Information Services (IS) and Sutter Health and its affiliates required to implement and support IS projects.
  • Collaborates across Sutter Health and its affiliates to provide support and training as well as participate in goals and objectives planning and prioritization related to IS applications.
  • Ensures matrixed staff adheres to standards.
Requirements:
  • Epic ASAP, ClinDoc, or Stork certification or proficiency is highly desired.
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
  • 4 years recent relevant experience.
Preferred Skills and Knowledge:
  • Working knowledge of Health Level 7 (HL7) and Extensible Markup Language (XML) messaging standards and structure, as well as Application Program Interfaces (APIs).
  • In-depth knowledge of industry standards with an emphasis on supporting business requirements.
  • Working knowledge of healthcare operations and structure.
  • In-depth knowledge of the lifecycle of application environments.
Work Environment:

Days, Full Time, 8 hours, Monday - Friday, Variable, As Needed, Occasionally.

Sutter Health is an equal opportunity employer EOE/M/F/Disability/Veterans. Pay Range is $53.59 to $80.39 / hour. San Francisco Bay Area Pay Range is $61.63 to $92.45 / hour.

Compensation takes into account several factors including but not limited to a candidate's experience, education, skills, licensure and certifications, department equity, training and organizational needs.

Base pay is just one piece of the total rewards program offered by Sutter Health. Eligible roles also qualify for a comprehensive benefits package.
