Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Sprinkler Service Technician to join our team. As a key member of our service team, you will be responsible for performing service and repairs on sprinkler systems for commercial, industrial, and residential applications.

Key Responsibilities
  • Receive service calls from our Service Resource Center and contact customer representatives to diagnose equipment/system problems.
  • Perform service and repairs on sprinkler systems, including wet, dry, pre-action, deluge, and fire pumps.
  • Follow prescribed troubleshooting procedures and refer to technical manuals, part manuals, and other resources to diagnose and repair equipment.
  • Read and interpret blueprints, diagrams, submittals, specifications, and operational product manuals.
  • Demonstrate a high level of customer service, with strong organizational skills, a positive attitude, and an ability to learn quickly.
Requirements
  • 5+ years of documented experience in the Fire Sprinkler industry performing service and repair to sprinkler and suppression systems.
  • High School Diploma or equivalent required.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends, to meet customer requirements.
  • Overnight travel may be required.
  • Must maintain truck inventory to ensure timely response to customer needs.
  • Must adhere to, implement, and follow safety guidelines and procedures.
  • Possess a valid driver's license and driving record that meets company requirements.
  • Follow verbal and written instructions.
  • On call and after-hours work required on occasion at customer need.
  • Capable of performing physical labor, including carrying and moving equipment and tools weighing up to 70 lbs.
  • Able to work in unusual and sometimes difficult positions, such as climbing ladders, scaffolding, and high lift equipment up to 60 feet.
Preferred Qualifications
  • NICET Level II certification is a plus (required in 2 years).
  • Backflow certification is a plus.
