About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Territory Sales Manager to join our team at Midland Garage Door. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for executing sales efforts in an ethical and professional manner, ensuring a favorable impression of yourself and the company.

Key Responsibilities

  • Close and grow sales through professional communication with existing and prospective customers.
  • Create, implement, maintain, and execute a territory plan that leads to sales growth in line with sales goals and company profitability expectations.
  • Effectively present our products and services and is able to overcome barriers to close the sale by clearly communicating the features, benefits, and value of our products, services, and company.
  • Manage and interpret customer requirements – speaking with customers to understand, anticipate and meet their needs.
  • Introduce and demonstrate new products and services to existing and prospective customers.
  • Present and educate an audience of customers, contractors, architects and buying influencers.
  • Attend customer functions including (but not limited to) trade shows, contractor events, and Parade homes.
  • Identify and resolve customer concerns – and recommend a course of action to alleviate these concerns in the future.
  • Assist with warranties as required.
  • Manage the territory account list including determining what accounts you will see at what frequency.
  • Maintain knowledge of industry and competitor products. Identify and report on competitor strategies, products, and trends.
  • Maintain a professional image of self and a professional work environment including vehicle.
  • Coordinates with the Accounts Receivable department to ensure all invoices are paid in a timely manner by your customers.

Requirements

High School or GED required, college degree preferred and 3-5 years of relevant sales and related industry experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience to successfully perform the essential responsibilities and duties as listed above. Must possess a valid driver's license and an MVR that qualifies per the auto insurance requirement.
