Job Summary

Job Title: Echo Technologist PRN

HCA Florida Northside Hospital is seeking a skilled Echo Technologist PRN to join our Imaging Team. As an Echo Technologist, you will be responsible for performing echocardiographic and non-invasive cardiologic examination services to patients of all ages. You will work closely with our team of healthcare professionals to provide high-quality patient care and contribute to the success of our hospital.

Responsibilities
  • Prepare and position patients and equipment for safe and effective procedures.
  • Perform and process M-Mode, Two-dimensional, Color Flow, and Doppler Echocardiograms, as well as assist with Transesophageal Echocardiograms.
  • Maintain, compile, calculate, and prepare findings for physician interpretation and archiving.
  • Obtain high-quality radiographic and fluoroscopic images.
  • Communicate effectively with patients, radiologists, and other healthcare team members.
Requirements
  • Minimum of one year of experience in Adult Echocardiography.
  • AA, AS Degree or proof of equivalent college hours in health science, natural science, nursing, or any other program with primary science content, or Cardiovascular Program.
  • Current Ultrasound registry required.
  • Registry required within one year of hire date with Cardiovascular Credentialing International (RCS) or The American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonography (RDCS).
  • Current Certification in Basic Life Support provider approved by American Heart Association.
