Job Title: Project Assistant

Hobby Lobby Stores, Inc. is seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Project Assistant to join our HR team. As a key member of our team, you will provide administrative support in a fast-paced environment, ensuring compliance with local, state, and federal employment laws.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide administrative support to the HR team, including creating and maintaining files, preparing correspondence, and ordering office supplies.
  • Complete projects independently and as part of a project team, ensuring timely and accurate results.
  • Communicate with operations managers to ensure compliance with administrative policies and protocols.
  • Manage team phone and email inbox, responding to inquiries and redirecting as necessary.
  • Track various projects for the HR, Leave, and Benefits departments, ensuring accurate and timely completion.
  • Administer state poster compliance and assist in other compliance initiatives.
Requirements:
  • 2+ years of experience in HR, with a focus on compliance and administrative support.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to think critically and analytically.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions, with excellent organizational and multi-tasking skills.
  • Proficient in MS Office and Human Resource Information Systems, with experience in SAP a plus.
  • High School Diploma or GED, with education beyond high school preferred.
