Position Overview:

We are seeking accomplished Chief Financial Officers to provide consultancy services to our esteemed clientele. In this role, you will leverage your extensive experience to deliver strategic financial guidance to Hedge Funds and Family Offices. Your background in this leadership capacity will be instrumental in shaping the financial strategies of our clients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive best practice evaluations.
  • Formulate actionable and effective strategic plans.
  • Break down objectives into manageable tasks.
  • Advise on vendor selection and management.
  • Establish and enforce policies, procedures, and control measures.
  • Assess client progress towards goals using key performance indicators (KPIs) and scoring matrices.
  • Engage in special projects or address specific client needs.

Qualifications:

  • Oversee all aspects of Finance, Accounting, and Billing functions across the organization, ensuring accurate financial statement preparation.
  • Manage financial reporting, planning, analysis, budgeting, and risk management.
  • Ensure alignment of revenue and profit forecasts with actual figures and budgets.
  • Maintain relationships and financial agreements with banks and investors.
  • Supervise and authorize all management company expenses, ensuring robust internal controls.
  • Lead the capital strategy, including financing arrangements and partnerships.
  • Collaborate with leadership to define and monitor financial objectives.
  • Safeguard the fiscal integrity of the organization through effective accounting systems and controls.
  • Assist with audits, tax preparations, and regulatory filings.
  • Evaluate resource needs and financial implications of new initiatives.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or a related field.
  • CPA designation is mandatory; advanced degrees (e.g., MBA) are advantageous.
  • Minimum of 10 years of experience as a Chief Financial Officer in Hedge Funds or Family Offices.
  • At least 5 years of experience in financial roles within Hedge Funds, Family Offices, or major accounting firms.
  • Strong expertise in cash management, forecasting, and technical accounting.
  • Proficient in Microsoft applications and accounting software.
  • Comprehensive understanding of financial instruments and regulations.
  • Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail.

Compensation:

The consulting rate ranges from $275 to $400 per hour, determined by factors such as engagement length, complexity, and required expertise.

Work Environment:

This position offers the flexibility to work remotely and choose assignments that align with your expertise.
