Job Title: Senior Systems Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Systems Engineer to join our team at Arcfield. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and integrating complex systems to meet the needs of our government customers.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and develop end-to-end systems, ensuring compliance with client and government standards.
  • Collaborate with multi-disciplinary engineering teams to translate high-level strategies into detailed requirements.
  • Conduct formal verifications and support business development.
  • Develop quantifiable requirements from customer descriptions, system planning, and logistics.
  • Ensure compliance with client requirements and government standards through formal verification methods.
Program Description:

Our team is working on a 7-year contract to provide SETA (Systems Engineering Technical Advisor) & SE&I (Systems Engineering & Integration) services to an important Intelligence Community (IC) customer. We are responsible for supporting the acquisition of new systems and upgrades, working closely with development contractors, Information System Security Engineers (ISSEs), and the government client to ensure all IT assets comply with security requirements and are able to attain and maintain Authority To Operate (ATO).

Requirements:
  • 10 to 12 years of experience with a BS or 8 to 10 years with an MS or 5 to 7 years with a PhD.
  • Technical BS in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related technical degree.
  • Prior experience with Government acquisitions.
  • Understanding of satellite/ground segment hardware/software.
  • Familiarity with network communication protocols.
  • Must possess and be able to maintain a TS/SCI clearance with Poly.
Desired Qualifications:
  • 5 years of experience with Commercial/Government acquisition of satellite/ground segment hardware/software.
  • BS in Electrical Engineering, Systems Engineering, Cybersecurity, or Computer Science.
  • Experience with network communications protocols, equipment, and architecture development.
