Position Overview:
We are looking for dedicated professionals to serve as a liaison between law enforcement and individuals experiencing behavioral health challenges. This role is crucial in providing immediate assistance and ongoing support to those affected by crime and mental health crises.
Key Responsibilities:
- Engage with victims of trauma to offer necessary resources and guidance through the criminal justice process and behavioral health services.
- Collaborate with law enforcement agencies to ensure effective crisis intervention strategies are implemented.
Required Qualifications:
- A minimum of an Associate's degree is necessary, with a preference for a Bachelor's degree in Social Work, Human Services, or Psychology.
- Prior experience working with law enforcement and individuals impacted by trauma is advantageous.
- Exceptional skills in crisis management and communication are essential.
- Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish is required.
- A valid driver's license and dependable transportation are mandatory.
