Job Summary

The Radiopharmacy Technician is a key member of our team at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center, assisting Radiopharmacists in the preparation and dispensing of radiopharmaceuticals. This role requires a high level of technical skill and attention to detail, as well as excellent communication and organizational abilities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare and dispense radiopharmaceuticals according to Standard Operating Procedures
  • Perform Quality Control (QC) testing on various drug samples
  • Maintain and clean facilities and equipment
  • Receive and ship radiopharmaceutical packages
  • Perform radiation safety functions
  • Manage waste
Requirements
  • High School Diploma/GED or higher
  • Impeccable communication skills
  • Excellent organizational skills for data and document management
  • Ability to adapt to a highly dynamic environment
  • Team player with a patient-centric focus
Preferred Qualifications
  • Radiopharmacy Technician experience (minimum 1 year)
  • Pharmacy Compounding of sterile preparations (working knowledge of USP 797 & 823)
  • PET/SPECT Radiopharmaceutical handling experience
