Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Research and Development Scientist to join our team at Kelly Science, Engineering, Technology & Telecom. As a key member of our product development team, you will be responsible for leading the development of new and innovative products.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute product development strategies to meet business objectives.
  • Lead cross-functional teams to design and develop new products, including formulation, testing, and commercialization.
  • Collaborate with suppliers to develop and source high-quality ingredients and materials.
  • Conduct analytical testing and data analysis to ensure product quality and compliance with industry standards.
  • Develop and maintain technical documents, including product specifications, formulations, and testing protocols.
  • Communicate technical information to non-technical stakeholders, including product managers, marketing teams, and external partners.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Chemistry, Food Chemistry, Food Science, Food Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or a related field, and 5+ years of experience in the food industry.
  • Master's degree in a related field and 3+ years of experience in the food industry.
  • Strong technical knowledge and problem-solving skills, with the ability to conduct rapid prototyping and development under tight timelines.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment.
  • Ability to taste and describe differences in flavor profiles and develop new flavor profiles.
  • Strong understanding of food industry standards for quality and regulatory compliance.
