About the Role

Bell Partners is seeking a detail-oriented and organized Property Accountant to join our team. As a key member of our accounting team, you will be responsible for ensuring the accuracy and timeliness of our accounts payable process.

Key Responsibilities
  • Process and review payables transactions to ensure accuracy and compliance with company policies
  • Key invoices in an accurate and timely manner, ensuring all 3rd party invoice exception inquiries are addressed promptly
  • Assist the General Manager with customer service, accounts receivables, and other daily operations of the apartment community
  • Code and process all invoices, maintaining monthly paid invoice files
  • Address vendor inquiries concerning invoice payment status
  • Review and approve FAS' daily Alerts and Approvals OneSite process
Requirements
  • Associates' degree in Accounting or related field
  • 2 years prior AP experience, preferably in a high-volume Accounts Payable Department
  • Strong data entry and computer skills, with ability to multitask
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with ability to work in a team-based setting
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Excel
  • Customer service focus, with ability to maintain confidentiality
  • Ability to work in a general office environment
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
