Position Overview:
This role is integral to the daily operations of the Human Resources department, focusing on compliance with labor regulations, payroll administration, employee benefits, leave management, time tracking, and the enforcement of organizational policies and practices.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Act as the primary administrator for employee benefits and serve as the main contact for all inquiries related to medical, dental, and vision plans.
  • Ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations while liaising with benefit providers.
  • Facilitate new hire orientations and benefits training, along with employee recognition initiatives.
  • Execute routine tasks necessary for the administration of HR programs, including compensation, benefits, leave management, disciplinary actions, conflict resolution, performance management, and employee development.
  • Address employment-related inquiries from candidates, employees, and management, escalating complex issues as needed.
  • Participate in employee disciplinary meetings, terminations, and investigations.
  • Maintain adherence to federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations, reviewing policies to ensure compliance.
  • Stay informed about trends, best practices, regulatory changes, and advancements in human resources and employment law.
  • Monitor and document compliance with mandatory training programs, including safety and anti-harassment training.
  • Uphold professionalism, confidentiality, integrity, and cultural diversity within the workplace.
  • Conduct background checks and verify employee eligibility.

Additional Responsibilities:
Participate in COE activities as required.

Education and Experience:
A Bachelor’s Degree or a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience or training, or a combination of education and experience.

Certifications:
Advanced HR certifications are preferred.
