Job Summary

We are seeking highly skilled and certified Lifeguards and Senior Lifeguards to join our team at the City of Mission Viejo California. As a Lifeguard or Senior Lifeguard, you will be responsible for ensuring the safety of our community members and visitors by providing exceptional aquatic rescue services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide emergency response and rescue services in aquatic environments
  • Monitor and maintain a safe and healthy environment for swimmers and pool users
  • Enforce pool rules and regulations to prevent accidents and injuries
  • Participate in regular training and drills to maintain and improve rescue skills
  • Collaborate with other lifeguards and pool staff to ensure seamless service delivery
Requirements
  • Certification in Lifeguarding and CPR/AED
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and respond to emergencies
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • High school diploma or equivalent required
