Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Nurse Unit Manager to join our team at our White Plains, NY facility. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for overseeing the delivery of resident care services and ensuring the highest standards of quality and safety.
Key Responsibilities
- Resident Care
- Develop and implement resident care plans in collaboration with the healthcare team
- Monitor and evaluate resident care services to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and Centers Healthcare standards
- Staff Management
- Supervise and coordinate the work of nursing staff to ensure efficient and effective delivery of resident care services
- Provide guidance and support to staff to enhance their skills and knowledge
- Quality and Safety
- Conduct regular audits and assessments to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions
- Develop and implement quality improvement initiatives to enhance resident care and safety
Requirements
- Education and Experience
- Current RN license in the state of New York
- Minimum 2 years of experience in a skilled nursing facility or rehabilitation setting
