We are seeking a dedicated PRN Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) to join our team at LHC Group.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver services within the defined scope of practice as mandated by state regulations, adhering to the established care plan, and collaborating with the healthcare team.
  • Assess the patient's functional abilities through diagnostic evaluations and assist in formulating the therapy care plan.
  • Facilitate effective communication for patients by tailoring interventions to their specific needs while maintaining professional standards.
  • Monitor, document, and communicate the patient's treatment responses and any changes in their condition to the supervising nurse or physician.
  • Educate patients, families, caregivers, and other healthcare team members on relevant aspects of speech therapy.

Qualifications:

  • Must hold a valid Speech Therapy license in the state of practice.
  • Current CPR certification is required.
  • A valid driver's license, vehicle insurance, and reliable transportation are necessary.
