Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver services within the defined scope of practice as per state regulations, adhering to the established care plan while collaborating with the healthcare team.
- Assess the patient's functional abilities through diagnostic evaluations, assisting in the formulation of the therapy care plan.
- Facilitate effective communication for patients, tailoring approaches to their specific conditions and adhering to established practice standards.
- Monitor, document, and communicate the patient's progress and any changes in their condition to the supervising nurse or physician.
- Educate patients, families, caregivers, and other healthcare team members on relevant aspects of speech therapy.
Qualifications:
- Must hold a valid Speech Therapy license in the state of practice.
- Current CPR certification is mandatory.
- A valid driver's license, vehicle insurance, and reliable transportation are required.
