Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver services within the defined scope of practice as per state regulations, adhering to the established care plan while collaborating with the healthcare team.
  • Assess the patient's functional abilities through diagnostic evaluations, assisting in the formulation of the therapy care plan.
  • Facilitate effective communication for patients, tailoring approaches to their specific conditions and adhering to established practice standards.
  • Monitor, document, and communicate the patient's progress and any changes in their condition to the supervising nurse or physician.
  • Educate patients, families, caregivers, and other healthcare team members on relevant aspects of speech therapy.

Qualifications:

  • Must hold a valid Speech Therapy license in the state of practice.
  • Current CPR certification is mandatory.
  • A valid driver's license, vehicle insurance, and reliable transportation are required.
