Role Responsibilities

  • Oversee the legal dimensions of the firm's litigation operations.
  • Manage a caseload of approximately 50-75 active litigation matters, focusing on pretrial, trial, and appellate processes, emphasizing strategic oversight, client engagement, document handling, risk evaluation, and negotiation of settlements.
  • Act as primary counsel throughout various litigation phases, including pre-litigation, pleadings, discovery, trial preparation, trial attendance, post-trial activities, and appeals.
  • Assist operational staff in executing procedural enhancements and authorize necessary modifications.
  • Additional tasks and responsibilities may be assigned based on the firm's evolving needs and your professional growth.

Qualifications and Skills

  • Mandatory:
    • Juris Doctorate from an accredited institution.
    • Valid license to practice law in Colorado.
    • 3-5 years of experience as lead counsel for financial institutions in contentious litigation.
  • Preferred Attributes:
    • Admission to practice in all three federal districts of Colorado.
    • Outstanding verbal and written communication abilities.
    • Exceptional organizational skills.
    • Familiarity with legal research tools such as Westlaw, LexisNexis, or similar platforms.
    • Experience in managing contested default cases and banking litigation relevant to the jurisdiction.

Work Environment and Benefits

  • Location and Schedule:
    • This hybrid role requires in-office presence in Centennial, Colorado, 2-3 days per week following a training period and management approval.
    • Standard working hours are Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM.

    • Competitive salary range of $90,000 to $125,000 annually.

  • Physical Requirements:
