Job Title: PLC Controls Engineer

Bartech Staffing is a leading engineering, technical, and professional staffing firm, partnering with top companies to provide exceptional talent. Our client, a renowned industry leader, is seeking a skilled PLC Controls Engineer to join their team.

Job Responsibilities:
  • Utilize Vis Plant monitoring software to analyze automation cycle times, review, and implement automation projects and installations.
  • Troubleshoot PLC, robot, and other automation issues to ensure seamless operations.
  • Update program backups for automation systems.
  • Design and implement new installations of Body tooling and conveyor systems.
Requirements:
  • Fundamental knowledge of PLC logic and controls, including RSLogix.
  • Electrical background, preferably as an electrician or technician.
  • Experience with Allen Bradley Panel View use/programming, AB Servo, and AB VFD drives.
  • Familiarity with VFDs, Armor starts, encoders, network/Ethernet controls.
  • Preferred experience: 2+ years in related fields.
  • Strong problem-solving skills, including 8Ds, FMEAs, and DMAICs.
  • Education: High School Diploma required; Bachelor's degree in engineering preferred.
  • Availability to work on-site, with flexibility to work overtime, nights, and weekends.
