Position Overview

Balfour Senior Living, a leader in the senior care industry, is dedicated to providing exceptional service and support to our residents. Our Memory Care team plays a crucial role in ensuring the well-being and comfort of individuals with memory impairments. We are seeking compassionate and dedicated individuals to join our team in delivering outstanding care.

Work Schedule: Opportunities available for both full-time and part-time positions across various shifts:

  • Morning Shift: 6 AM - 2 PM
  • Afternoon Shift: 2 PM - 10 PM
  • Night Shift: 10 PM - 6 AM

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with licensed nursing staff to provide high-quality care and support to residents.
  • Assist residents with daily living activities while promoting their emotional health and well-being.
  • Develop personalized recreation plans under the guidance of the Director.
  • Implement and uphold infection control protocols.
  • Work alongside Life Enrichment staff to foster companionship and engagement for residents.
  • Support light housekeeping duties as needed.
  • Maintain accurate documentation and organization of medical supplies and records.

Qualifications:

  • Strong interpersonal skills with a focus on building relationships with elderly residents and their families.
  • Demonstrated compassion and commitment to providing quality care.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and adhere to HIPAA regulations.
  • Proficient in reading, writing, and communicating in English.

Preferred Experience:

  • Previous experience in elder care or working with individuals with memory challenges.
  • Background in customer service is a plus.

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to walk for the duration of the shift.
  • Capability to lift a minimum of 30 lbs.
  • Ability to push or pull up to 50 lbs.
  • Availability to work weekends and holidays as required.
  • Exposure to various environmental factors, including odors and allergens.
