Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled Project Manager to lead the daily activities required for the successful completion of our projects.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing all aspects of project execution, including coordinating with customers, architects, and engineering consultants.

  • This is a challenging role that requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and effective communication.
Responsibilities

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • Obtaining bidding documents and information from the estimator;
  • Managing change orders on existing contracts;
  • Coordinating contract information with the owner, general contractor, and job superintendent;
  • Determining quality parameters and special safety requirements from specifications;
  • Managing field surveys and documentation;
  • Preparing and maintaining the erection plan as part of the project site-specific plan;
  • Managing logistics for manpower, tools, and equipment;
  • Determining delivery and erection sequences;
  • Preparing and maintaining project schedules for timely completion;
  • Communicating contract requirements to subcontractors, job superintendent, equipment manager, crane supplier, etc.;
  • Disseminating contract safety and quality systems to field forces at the job site;
  • Managing drawing distribution and requests for information;
  • Coordinating shipping requirements between the field and suppliers/subcontractors;
  • Job cost reporting;
Requirements

To be considered for this role, candidates must have:

  • A Bachelor's degree in Structural/Civil Engineering or Construction Management;
  • A minimum of 3 years of experience in project management/project engineering related to structural steel and precast erection;
  • The ability to interpret information from contract drawings, specifications, and shop detail drawings;
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work under pressure;
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills;
  • A valid driver's license;
