As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for the operation, predictive and preventative maintenance, and repair of our facility's real property, power industrial trucks, and plant facility systems.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform skilled work in the operation, predictive and preventative maintenance, and repair of the facility's real property, power industrial trucks, and plant facility systems.
  • Operate and maintain the ammonia refrigeration system.
  • Perform electrical and mechanical preventative and predictive maintenance as tasked.
  • Complete daily log sheets, communicate effectively, and be proactive in recognizing and reporting unsafe conditions and other mechanical concerns.
  • Be proactive in the daily plant operations to ensure maximum plant efficiencies and product quality and capacity.
  • Assist in maintaining a relevant and accurate mechanical inventory.
  • Support the company personnel and food safety programs, policies and procedures, and contract employee programs.
  • Follow all company personnel safety, food safety, attendance, GMP policies.

Requirements

  • A minimum of 6 months of experience in the field of mechanic work experience or refrigeration experience in the work history section of the application or be a graduate of an industrial maintenance training program.
  • PSM experience preferred.
  • Refrigeration Experience preferred.
  • Read and understand blueprints, manuals and work orders.
