Clinical Transplant Specialist

The Department of Medicine at the University of Rochester Medical Center is seeking a highly skilled Clinical Transplant Specialist to join our multidisciplinary team of surgeons and hepatologists.
As a key member of our transplant team, you will be responsible for providing patient-centered care, managing end-stage organ disease across the entire continuum of patient care, and effectively partnering with hepatologists and gastroenterologists within the institution and in the region.
Key responsibilities include:
- Working with the multidisciplinary team to provide patient-centered care
- Managing end-stage organ disease across the entire continuum of patient care, including pre-transplant, transplant, and post-transplant
- Effectively partnering with hepatologists and gastroenterologists within the institution and in the region
- Participating in quality improvement processes of the program and ensuring regulatory compliance
Candidates for this position should be at a level commensurate with promotion to the Associate Professor level. A generous compensation and benefit package is associated with this position.
Qualifications include:
- M.D. Degree or equivalent
- Must obtain a New York State Medical License prior to start date
- Eligible for a Faculty Appointment at the University of Rochester School of Medicine and Dentistry
- Must meet all credentialing requirements
- Eligible for Board Certification in Internal Medicine, Gastroenterology, Transplant Hepatology
- Post offer Drug Screen and Health Assessment required
- Compliance with University and New York State health requirements

The referenced pay range represents the University's good faith and reasonable estimate of the base range of compensation for this faculty position. Individual salaries will be determined within the job's salary range and established based on market data, experience, and expertise of the individual, and with consideration to related position salaries.
