About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Medical Director to lead our Wound Care Services team at Korzen Health. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for overseeing the medical care delivered within our assigned facilities and ensuring that our patients receive the highest quality care.

Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee medical care delivered within assigned facilities
  • Develop and implement plans to ensure Clinical Practice Guidelines are followed and desired medical outcomes are achieved
  • Collaborate with Medical, Clinical, and Operational Leadership to drive quality improvement initiatives
  • Provide direct patient care in an active wound clinic setting
  • Participate in the interview and selection process for new providers
  • Assist in the resolution of non-clinical or behavioral issues of assigned providers
  • Perform site visits to stay connected with Wound Care Centers and Healogics Facilities
  • Ensure that Healogics provider processes are in place
Requirements
  • Medical degree or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Active license in State of Practice required
  • Board Certification Preferred (ABMS)
  • DEA License required
  • ACLS/BLS Certification required
  • Minimum of ten (10) years related experience required
  • Minimum of five (5) Leadership experience
  • Procedure experience within the last two (2) years
