Job Title: Travel Contract - Computed Tomography (CT) Tech

Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Computed Tomography (CT) Technologist to join our team at a top-rated hospital in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. As a CT Technologist, you will be responsible for operating CT scanners to capture high-quality images of patients' internal organs and tissues. Responsibilities:

  • Operate CT scanners to capture diagnostic images of patients' internal organs and tissues.
  • Position patients to ensure accurate and safe scanning procedures.
  • Perform regular maintenance and quality control checks on CT scanners.
  • Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate diagnoses and effective patient care.
  • Develop and maintain a thorough understanding of CT scanning procedures and protocols.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in CT technology and imaging techniques.

Requirements:

  • Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification
  • Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS)
  • National Institutes of Health (NIH)
  • Certified Principal Investigator (CPI) Certification
  • Sound knowledge of anatomy, physiology, pathology, and medical terminology
  • Ability to stand for extended periods
  • Strong technical skills
  • Knowledge of medical terminology
  • Passionate about patient care
  • Graduate from a fully accredited Computed Tomography Technologist program
  • Minimum three years of current CT Tech experience
  • Active unencumbered CT Tech Pennsylvania state license

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Cath Lab tech with minimum three year experience
  • Scrub and Monitoring
  • EPIC/Siemens Sensis
  • Interventional Radiology experience
