General Overview:

The Facilities Management team is in search of a Lead Housekeeping Operations Supervisor. This role involves overseeing day shift operations from Monday to Friday, with occasional weekend duties. The position is integral to maintaining a state-of-the-art recreational facility that includes various wellness and activity centers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist the supervisor in managing performance issues and serve as a substitute in their absence.
  • Direct and coordinate a team of custodians in daily operations and special cleaning assignments.
  • Collaborate with facility coordinators on projects such as floor maintenance and event preparations.
  • Oversee work orders and manage the procurement of cleaning supplies and equipment.
  • Perform routine and specialized cleaning tasks in designated areas.
  • Follow all safety protocols and engage in waste management and recycling initiatives.

Qualifications:

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to perform physically demanding tasks and stand for extended periods.
  • Experience with industrial cleaning equipment and chemicals.
  • Capability to handle materials safely and responsibly.
  • Experience in team supervision and effective time management.
  • Familiarity with cleaning practices and customer service principles.
  • Must be at least 19 years old and possess a valid driver's license.

Additional Considerations:

Proficiency in Spanish is preferred for effective communication and translation.
