Job Title: Housekeeping Manager

Job Summary:

The Housekeeping Manager is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the housekeeping department, ensuring that all guest rooms and public areas are clean and well-maintained. This includes supervising housekeeping staff, coordinating with other departments, and implementing policies and procedures to ensure high-quality service.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Supervise and train housekeeping staff to ensure they meet high standards of cleanliness and customer service.
  • Coordinate with other departments, such as front desk and maintenance, to ensure seamless operations.
  • Implement and maintain policies and procedures to ensure high-quality service and efficient operations.
  • Conduct regular inspections to ensure that all guest rooms and public areas meet high standards of cleanliness and maintenance.
  • Manage inventory and supplies to ensure that the housekeeping department has the necessary resources to perform its duties.
  • Develop and implement strategies to improve customer satisfaction and loyalty.
Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; degree in hospitality or related field preferred.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in housekeeping or a related field, with at least 1 year of supervisory experience.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Physical ability to lift and move heavy objects, as well as stand for long periods of time.
