Job Title: Chief Claims Officer

As a key member of the MSI leadership team, the Chief Claims Officer will lead the entire claims management function, ensuring the efficient processing and resolution of claims across internal and TPA teams. This role requires a strong leader with a passion for technology, AI, and automation, as well as excellent analytical and quantitative skills.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Build a best-in-class claims department that is focused on claims outcomes and innovating to improve the policyholder claims experience.
  • Partner with the MSI leadership team to develop strategic and operational plans aimed at achieving growth and profitability targets.
  • Champion a technology roadmap that promotes automation, improved sophistication of claims handling, and access to quality data.
  • Continuously hone effective training and quality mechanisms for the claims team.
  • Ensure adherence to claims handling best practices and service levels, that claims are paid correctly/timely, and compliant with policy contracts/state mandated claims handling requirements.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in a business-related field required.
  • 15+ years of experience in various personal, commercial, and specialty lines claims organizations.
  • 5+ years in a claims-related senior leadership role with direct responsibility for the overall success of product performance of the claims team.
  • Highly developed EQ and leadership capabilities.
  • Strong analytical and quantitative skills and ability to discern with solid decision-making capabilities.
Special Working Conditions:
  • Fast-paced environment.
  • Travel up to 33% of the time.
