Position Overview

The Senior Community Marketing Representative plays a vital role in promoting our brand at popular local attractions, including shopping centers and entertainment venues. This position involves engaging with the public at various events, such as trade shows and festivals, serving as a brand ambassador for Wyndham Destinations. In this customer-facing role, you will initiate conversations with potential clients, sharing insights about the vacation club experience and encouraging them to attend our award-winning presentations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Act as the primary point of contact and community representative for Wyndham Destinations.
  • Offer recommendations to visitors regarding local events, dining options, and attractions.
  • Uphold the Wyndham Destinations brand image professionally at diverse marketing venues.
  • Engage, qualify, and incentivize prospective clients to participate in a sales preview of our resorts.
  • Ensure a welcoming and professional first impression of our organization.
  • Maintain accurate records of all interactions and customer engagements.
  • Handle the collection and processing of any deposits made by guests you invite.
  • Meet or exceed established performance standards consistently.
  • Conduct all interactions in person, with no telemarketing involved.

Qualifications

  • 2-3 years of experience in sales, brand representation, or marketing is preferred.
  • Ability to navigate rejection and address common objections effectively.
  • High energy and motivation to achieve financial success are essential.
  • Outgoing, enthusiastic, and determined personality is a must.
  • A High School Diploma or equivalent is required; a College Degree is preferred.
