Position Overview:

The role of the Assistant Project Manager encompasses a variety of responsibilities aimed at ensuring project success and client satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure that the Client's requirements are fulfilled as outlined in the construction agreement.
  • Utilize all available resources to meet or surpass PMI's standards for safety, quality, and performance.
  • Regularly monitor and communicate the project's status regarding budget and timeline to PMI Management and the Client.
  • Handle change orders and negotiate their approval with the Client.
  • Maintain thorough documentation and logs for all change orders.
  • Conduct regular meetings with the Project Team to identify issues and facilitate the development and implementation of solutions.
  • Ensure that Project Team Members are adhering to their assigned responsibilities.
  • At the conclusion of the project, verify that all essential documentation is correctly organized, labeled, and stored in the PMI archive.
  • Engage with the client to conduct scheduling discussions.

Additionally, you will either assist or take the lead in cost estimation efforts.
