We are seeking a detail-oriented and patient-focused Optometric Assistant to join our team at Texas State Optical Briargrove. - Assist patients with contact lenses and perform pre-testing procedures, including visual acuity tests, retinal imaging, and tonometry.

- Educate patients about eye care products, procedures, and services, promoting informed decision-making and empowering patients to take control of their eye health.
- Proven experience as an Optometric Assistant, with strong multitasking and organizational skills.
- Detail-oriented and patient-focused, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Knowledge of optical terminology and procedures, with proficiency in using electronic medical record (EMR) systems.
