Senior Interior Designer

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Interior Designer to join our team in the K12 and Education sectors. As a key member of our integrated design team, you will be responsible for collaborating on the design of projects from pre-design and programming through construction administration.
Key Responsibilities- Lead project design efforts, client interactions, and presentations
- Mentor younger staff and foster a work environment that emphasizes mutual respect, integration, learning, communication, and collaboration
- Work collaboratively with clients, contractors, vendors, and DLR Group team members to deliver projects
- Estimate fees, determine scope of work, and prepare proposals and contracts
- Have strong creative design and drawing skills, graphic and oral design presentation skills, capacity for conceptual design thinking, and 3D design/modeling ability
- Bachelor's Degree in Interior Design, Interior Architecture or equivalent
- 10-12 years of commercial design experience with expertise in Education (K12 or Higher Ed)
- Proficiency with Revit, Adobe Creative Suite, and Microsoft Office Suite
- Ability to work both independently and effectively in a cross-disciplinary team atmosphere and across multiple offices
- Outstanding communication, and interpersonal skills and be an enthusiastic team player
- Strong leadership and team building skills

The potential pay range for this role is $90,000 - $105,000 annually.
