AdventHealth is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Sanitation and Utility Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our facilities maintenance team, you will be responsible for maintaining a clean and safe environment for our patients, visitors, and staff.
Key Responsibilities- Ensure the cleanliness and sanitation of the Food Production Center, including the production area, bakery, coolers, freezers, stockrooms/closets, dish room, warehouse, exterior of the building/loading dock, and trash removal.
- Adhere to FDA Food Code standards for cleaning and sanitation.
- Operate and maintain commercial equipment, including the dish machine, three-compartment sink, and industrial rack washer.
- Use chemicals and cleaning supplies safely and effectively.
- Monitor and record equipment temperatures accurately and in a timely manner.
- Practice good judgment and concern for people's safety.
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Previous experience in cleaning and sanitation or a related field preferred.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for long periods.
