About the Position for Behavior Intervention Specialists

We are currently seeking qualified part-time Behavior Intervention Specialists to provide in-clinic Applied Behavioral Analysis (ABA) services to children with autism spectrum disorder or other developmental disabilities.

This position will be based in our state-of-the-art office in Winter Park, which features two-way mirrors, sand tray rooms, play therapy rooms, and much more.

Unlike other companies, we have very little turnover, ensuring a stable and supportive work environment.

Behavior technicians are responsible for assisting Board-Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBAs) to implement behavior plans through in-clinic direct intervention.

They will assist clients with day-to-day activities, monitor their behavior, record and collect data on patients' progress, and communicate with clients and families.

Other duties include clerical and administrative documentation, and supervision provided by a Board-Certified Behavior Analyst.

Role of the Behavior Intervention Specialist:


Provide behavior intervention services to individuals diagnosed with autism spectrum disorder and other developmental disorders in clinic and school settings.

Implement behavior intervention and skill acquisition plans created by and under the supervision of a Board-Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA).

Collect and record data accurately.

Complete accurate treatment notes in a timely manner.

Strictly follow BACB guidelines and codes of conduct at all times.

Collaborate closely with a multidisciplinary team, including Psychologists, Psychiatrists, and other Mental Health Practitioners, to ensure comprehensive care and support for our clients.

Supervision and Training


Supervision with a supervising BCBA will be required for 5-10% of total direct hours with each client, provided through Kinder Konsulting.

Kinder Konsulting offers the ability to gain additional supervised experience for Behavior Intervention Specialists working toward BCBA certification.

Receive supervision and training from experienced clinicians who have been with the company for years, ensuring stability and consistency.

Work alongside experienced professionals from various disciplines to provide holistic care and gain diverse perspectives on client treatment.

Qualifications Required for Behavior Intervention Specialist:


Must have current RBT Certification.

Must have RBT Medicaid provider number.

Must pass a background check.

Reliable car, proof of auto insurance, and a valid driver's license required.

This position does not offer remote work.
