We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Portfolio Manager to join our Middle Market Credit Management Group at TD Bank Group. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for managing a portfolio of commercial loans and providing financial analysis to support credit decisions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Financial Analysis: Conduct thorough financial analysis of commercial loan applications, including evaluating financial performance, determining enterprise and asset values, and recommending risk ratings.
  • Portfolio Management: Manage a designated portfolio of commercial loans, ensuring compliance with loan agreements, regulatory requirements, and underwriting and risk rating policies.
  • Credit Risk Management: Identify potential macro and micro risk issues, both positive and negative, and provide recommendations to mitigate risks.
  • People Management: Provide leadership and guidance to a team of credit analysts, including hiring, training, and performance management.
  • Communication: Communicate credit decisions and recommendations to relationship managers and other stakeholders.
Requirements
  • Education: Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience required.
  • Experience: 10+ years of experience in commercial lending, credit analysis, or a related field.
  • Skills: Strong understanding of commercial business development techniques, credit decisions, and financial analysis. Proficient in financial modeling and analysis, with experience in 3-statement financial projection modeling.
