We are seeking a compassionate and experienced nurse to join our dedicated team, providing high-quality medical care and support to residents in our residential programs.

About the Role:
The Residential Nurse Specialist will be responsible for assessing the health needs of residents, administering medication, conducting training sessions for staff, and collaborating with other healthcare professionals. This is a part-time position, requiring 12-20 hours per week.

Key Responsibilities:
• Provide ongoing medical assessment, observation, and oversight of residents' wellness and health
• Administer medication to residents whenever possible, ensuring accurate dosing and documentation
• Conduct training sessions for residential staff on various medical topics, promoting knowledge sharing and best practices
• Participate in treatment teams, contributing to individualized care plans and supporting the well-being of residents
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, including physicians and pharmacists, to ensure comprehensive care
• Maintain accurate records of resident care, adhering to regulatory requirements and OHU policies

Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree in Nursing (BSN) or higher; current Registered Nurse licensure required
• Minimum 3 years of experience in pediatric nursing or a related field
• Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record, with auto insurance coverage meeting OHU requirements
• DCFS background check and approval to transport youth
