Marina Slip Leasing Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled and customer-focused Marina Slip Leasing Specialist to join our team at Best in Boating. The successful candidate will have strong organizational skills and excellent communication abilities, with a focus on providing exceptional customer service and ensuring a positive experience for our marina visitors.

The Marina Slip Leasing Specialist will be responsible for negotiating and administering lease agreements, conducting regular inspections of boat slips, collecting rental payments, and enforcing marina rules and regulations. Additionally, this role will involve assisting in the development of marketing and promotional strategies to increase slip rental business, providing customer support, and maintaining accurate records and documentation.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Negotiate and administer lease agreements for customers seeking to lease slips in the marina
  • Conduct regular inspections of boat slips to ensure they are in good condition
  • Collect slip rental payments
  • Monitor and enforce marina rules and regulations
  • Assist in the development of marketing and promotional strategies to increase slip rental business
  • Provide customer service and support to slip rental customers
  • Assist with the coordination of marina events and activities
  • Maintain accurate records and documentation for all slip rental activities
  • Develop and implement policies and procedures for the Slip Leasing department
  • Perform other duties as assigned

Requirements:

  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to multitask and work under pressure
  • Ability to work independently
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
  • Ability to maintain accurate records and follow up on all paperwork
  • Ability to negotiate and secure the best terms for the customer
  • Familiarity with the different types of slips and the regulations associated with them
