Job Overview
Capital One is seeking a highly skilled Senior Commercial Credit Risk Strategist to join our team in McLean, Virginia. This role is responsible for developing and implementing business strategies that drive growth, profitability, and competitive success for Capital One in the face of shifting consumer and regulatory demands.

Key Responsibilities
As a Senior Commercial Credit Risk Strategist, you will be responsible for driving step-change improvements in credit performance by connecting drivers of future consumer credit trends to historical behavior, creating risk models, and testing hypotheses using rigorous monitoring and analysis. You will also oversee multiple projects and programs concurrently, manage and sequence delivery of business intent, build business requirements, and execute against the product strategy.

Required Skills and Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you will need at least 2 years of experience in analysis, with a Bachelor's Degree and a strong business judgment, leadership, and integrity. Preferred qualifications include a Master's Degree in Business or a quantitative field such as Finance, Economics, Physical Sciences, Math, Statistics, or Engineering, with 5+ years of experience in analysis, 2+ years of experience in financial services, and 1+ year of experience in consulting. You should also have excellent executive communication skills, impeccable written and oral communication credentials, coupled with strategic influencing skills and the ability to drive agreement through intellect, interpersonal, and negotiation skills.

Estimated Salary
The estimated salary range for this position is $120,000 - $180,000 per year, based on the location and industry standards. However, this is not a guaranteed figure and may vary depending on individual circumstances.
