Radiology Reception Coordinator

At New York Imaging Service, we are at the forefront of diagnostic imaging innovation. Our dedicated team of expert radiologists and technologists is committed to providing exceptional patient care across our state-of-the-art facilities.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Oversee the daily operational tasks of the front desk.
2. Greet patients and visitors warmly, ensuring a professional atmosphere.
3. Provide comfort to patients while maintaining an organized reception area.
4. Handle incoming calls, address inquiries, resolve issues, and schedule appointments.
5. Collect co-payments and ensure accurate daily financial reconciliation.
6. Assist patients in completing necessary documentation and forms.
7. Maintain patient records using the electronic medical record (EMR) system.
8. Manage physician schedules in accordance with established guidelines.
9. Distribute quality assurance surveys and assist with preventive screenings.
10. Collaborate with nursing staff to monitor and respond to messages from Care Team inboxes.
11. Ensure all patients requiring appointments are scheduled appropriately by reviewing daily visit lists.
12. Uphold patient confidentiality by adhering to HIPAA regulations.
13. Adapt to various roles within the office as needed to support team efforts.
14. Follow standard operating procedures to maintain efficient office operations.
Qualifications:
- High School diploma with a minimum of 1 year of relevant experience.
- Bachelor's Degree is preferred.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment.
- Proficiency in typing and computer skills is advantageous.
- Excellent customer service abilities.
- Previous experience in a similar role is beneficial.
Compensation and Benefits:
Salary up to $23 per hour, commensurate with experience and education. Full-time benefits include Tuition Reimbursement, Health Insurance from day one, Dental and Vision coverage, Life Insurance, Short and Long-term disability, a 401k Plan, generous Paid Time Off, and 8 paid holidays (including 2 floating days).
