Job Summary

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Radiology Coordinator to join our team at New York Imaging. As a Radiology Coordinator, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our imaging department, from scheduling appointments to maintaining accurate medical records.

Key Responsibilities
  • Schedule patient appointments and procedures in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Verify patient information and ensure accurate medical records are maintained.
  • Collaborate with radiologists and technologists to address any issues or changes with schedules.
  • Ensure all schedules are addressed with no issues and all tasks assigned by radiologists/technologists/supervisors are completed in a timely manner.
  • Address messages from other staff, departments, and MD offices.
  • Adhere to HIPAA guidelines while handling sensitive patient information.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Experience in radiology scheduling is required.
  • Experience working with medical records and familiarity with HIPAA regulations.
  • Strong communication skills.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
