The Automation Systems Engineer is responsible for ensuring the operational efficiency of packaging and PLC systems utilized in the manufacturing process, while also playing a key role in enhancing quality and safety standards within the facility. This role involves mentoring packaging technicians, overseeing equipment maintenance, and providing technical guidance to drive the organization towards its objectives.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Ensure the operational efficiency of packaging and PLC systems in the facility
  • Oversee the efforts of Packaging Technicians in maintaining equipment
  • Address and resolve maintenance challenges related to production packaging
  • Promote and support safety initiatives within the facility
  • Guarantee product quality standards are met
  • Lead projects related to packaging equipment
  • Perform additional tasks as required
  • Direct all PLC-related activities in the facility
  • Implement necessary changes in PLC programming
  • Oversee electronic control projects
  • Work in a cold and wet environment
Qualifications and Experience:
  • Experience in troubleshooting electronic, mechanical, and PLC systems
  • A minimum of 10 years of experience in mechanical and electrical systems troubleshooting and maintenance, along with supervisory experience
Preferred Education and Training:
  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Electrical Engineering Technology, or a related technical field
