Job Description

Duties:

  • Responsible for civil and water resource engineering tasks, including plan preparation, engineering reports, and specifications for various types of civil and water resources engineering projects.
  • Assists Project Managers with program management and engineering-related support services, including quantity take-offs, engineering estimates, construction inspection, and contractor management.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field.
  • EIT or professional registration (California preferred).
  • Minimum of five years of qualifying experience.

Key Expectations:

  • Professionalism with a responsible work ethic.
  • Clear communication skills.
  • Ability to perform engineering calculations and develop design drawings.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Demonstrated proficiency in AutoCAD, Civil 3D, ArcGIS, and other relevant software.
  • Experience with GIS databases related to public agency utility systems.

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to sit at a desk and use computer for an average 8-hour work shift.
  • Vision to independently view computer screen or printed materials.
  • Ability to operate motor vehicle.
