    • Use analytical and critical thinking to ensure that care is individualized and coordinated through effective partnerships.
  • Teamwork and Collaboration
    • Coordinate the delivery and documentation of safe, quality patient care that promotes the professional care delivery model.
    • Demonstrate teamwork and collaboration by practicing in a manner that is fiscally responsible and promotes the recruitment and retention of all healthcare team members.
  • Professional Development and Initiative
    • Complete all initial and ongoing professional competency assessments, required mandatory education, and population-specific education.
    • Serve as a preceptor and/or mentor for other professional nurses to ensure a current and future qualified workforce.
  • Evidence-Based Practice and Research
    • Promote evidence-based practice, nursing research, and performance improvement in nursing.

Requirements
  • Education
    • Diploma from an accredited nursing program.
    • Graduate of an accredited/approved school of nursing.
    • Baccalaureate degree in nursing (BSN) from an accredited school of nursing.
  • Licenses and Certifications
    • Reg Nurse (Single State).
    • RN - Multi-state Compact.
    • Basic Life Support.
    • Advanced Cardiac Life Support.
  • Experience
    • Minimum 5 years direct patient nursing care experience.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Education
    • Baccalaureate degree in nursing (BSN) from an accredited school of nursing.
  • Licenses and Certifications
    • Advanced Cardiac Life Support - Instructor.
    • Advanced Cardiac Life Support - Provisional.
