Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Lead Painter to join our team at Kazzwell Painting and Coatings Inc. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading a team of painters and coaters, ensuring high-quality finishes and services for our clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead a team of painters and coaters, providing guidance and direction to ensure successful project completion.
  • Develop and implement painting and coating plans, ensuring compliance with safety protocols and industry standards.
  • Conduct site visits to assess project requirements and develop detailed project plans.
  • Coordinate with other departments to ensure timely delivery of materials and equipment.
  • Monitor and control project costs, ensuring adherence to budget and quality standards.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with clients, ensuring satisfaction with our services.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry developments and best practices, applying knowledge to improve our services.
  • Ensure all work is performed in accordance with company policies and procedures.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by management.
Requirements
  • Minimum 1-2 years of experience as a journey-level painter, with experience in lead or supervisory roles.
  • Valid Georgia driver's license and a clean driving record.
  • Ability to work at heights and in confined spaces.
  • Knowledge of safety protocols and industry standards.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Working knowledge of effective supervisory practices and techniques.
  • Experience with project management software and tools.
  • Knowledge of painting and coating materials and equipment.
