Lead Painter

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Lead Painter to join our team at Kazzwell Painting and Coatings Inc. As a key member of our painting team, you will be responsible for leading and coordinating painting and coatings projects, ensuring high-quality finishes and services for our clients.

• Lead and coordinate painting and coatings projects, including planning, preparation, and execution.
• Supervise and train junior painters and coatings technicians to ensure they meet quality and safety standards.
• Develop and implement painting and coatings plans, including material selection, application methods, and safety protocols.
• Conduct site inspections to ensure compliance with safety regulations and quality standards.
• Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless project execution and customer satisfaction.
• Develop and maintain relationships with clients to understand their needs and preferences.
• Stay up-to-date with industry developments, best practices, and new technologies to improve painting and coatings processes.
• Ensure all work is performed in accordance with company policies, procedures, and safety protocols.

• Minimum 1-2 years of experience as a journey-level painter or coatings technician.
• Proven track record of leading and coordinating painting and coatings projects.
• Strong knowledge of painting and coatings techniques, materials, and safety protocols.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Valid driver's license and ability to travel to job sites.

• Working knowledge of supervisory practices and techniques.
• Experience with project management software and tools.
• Knowledge of industry-specific regulations and standards.
