Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field (e.g., healthcare administration, business administration) or equivalent experience.
  • Minimum of 4 years of experience in medical billing and reimbursement, with a focus on supervisory or management roles.
  • EPIC billing system experience and supervisory experience strongly preferred.
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to multitask, prioritize, and achieve successful outcomes in a fast-paced environment.
  • Working knowledge of CPT and ICD-9 coding and claims processing.
  • Excellent Excel and Word skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Master's degree in a related field (e.g., healthcare administration, business administration).
  • Experience with managed care contracting and outcomes.
  • Knowledge of commercial payers, federal, and state programs' procedures and guidelines.
