About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Civil Engineer Intern to join our team at TNP. As a Civil Engineer Intern, you will have the opportunity to work on a variety of public and private sector projects, including infrastructure development, transportation systems, and urban planning.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist in conducting site investigations and feasibility studies for projects
  • Create detailed design drawings, specifications, and construction documents under supervision
  • Support project managers, architects, and other professionals in developing project plans and deliverables
  • Assist in calculations and analysis for structural integrity, load capacity, and environmental impact of designs
  • Learn and ensure compliance with relevant codes, regulations, and standards
  • Assist in project coordination, including monitoring timelines, budgets, and resources
  • Provide support to senior engineers and team members as needed
Requirements
  • Pursuing a B.S. or M.S. in Civil Engineering
  • Passing of FE Exam & EIT Certification preferred
  • Responsive and results-oriented in their service to clients and the design team
  • One (1) to four (4) years of civil engineering coursework and/or work experience
  • Experience using AutoCAD Civil 3D, Microsoft Word and Excel preferred
  • Ability to develop solid working relationships with other team members in a team-oriented environment
  • Ability to effectively organize and schedule work to meet deadlines
