Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Parking Attendant to join our team at SP+. As a Parking Attendant, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of our parking facilities, providing exceptional customer service, and maintaining a safe and clean environment for our customers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Customer Service: Direct incoming customers to available parking spaces, provide assistance with parking and retrieving vehicles, and respond to customer inquiries in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Parking Lot Management: Count vehicles on location throughout the shift, ensure that cars are parked in an appropriate fashion, and maintain a clean and presentable parking lot.
  • Enforcement and Compliance: Write and issue violation warnings to tenants and visitors who violate parking policies, and report any observed or suspected violations of company policy to the Facility Manager.
  • Facility Maintenance: Assist in the maintenance and repair of parking equipment, and perform general maintenance tasks as directed by the Facility Manager.
  • Communication: Communicate with customers, colleagues, and management in a clear and effective manner, and report any known accidents, safety hazards, or unusual occurrences to the Facility Manager.
Requirements
  • Education and Experience: Less than High School education or one month related experience, training, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • License and Certification: Valid state-issued driver's license with a current address and acceptable driving record.
  • Availability: Availability to work 2nd shift, 3rd shift, and/or weekends may be required.
  • Language Skills: Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos, and ability to write simple correspondence.
  • Mathematical Skills: Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide with 10's and 100's, and ability to perform these operations using units of American money.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand, walk, and use hands to handle cash and equipment. The employee is occasionally required to sit and climb or balance. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds.
