Key Responsibilities
  • Measure and analyze lung capacity and blood samples using advanced medical equipment.
  • Develop and implement individualized respiratory care plans to meet the unique needs of each patient.
  • Monitor and record patient vital signs, responding promptly to any changes or concerns.
  • Evaluate and improve respiratory care policies and procedures to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
  • Collaborate with healthcare teams to provide comprehensive patient care and support.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest medical research and best practices in respiratory care.
Requirements
  • Graduate of a school of Respiratory Therapy.
  • Certifications: AHA Basic Life Support (BLS), AHA Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), AHA Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS), and AHA Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP).
  • Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential with the National Board of Respiratory Care (NBRC).
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and make sound judgments in high-pressure situations.
