Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Commercial Driver to join our team at Suncoast Roofers Supply. As a Logistics Specialist II, you will be responsible for delivering building materials to customer locations within a 200-mile radius of our branch. Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver building materials to customer locations within a 200-mile radius of our branch
  • Operate a commercial vehicle in compliance with all DOT regulations
  • Perform pre and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety
  • Validate and confirm inventory loaded on the truck
  • Conduct job site inspections and document any existing damage
  • Capture pictures of all building products delivered
Requirements
  • Valid Class A or B Commercial Driver's License (CDL)
  • Ability to load and unload building products that weigh up to 100 lbs. each
  • Must be a safe driver with no hit & runs or DWI/DUI convictions within the last three years
  • Prior commercial driving experience and knowledge of DOT & OSHA safety regulations a plus
  • Ability to read, write, understand, and communicate in English
  • Must be a minimum of 18 years of age (21 for interstate driving)
