ICPC-OTI Specialist

Kids Central, Inc. is seeking a highly skilled ICPC-OTI Specialist to join our team. The successful candidate will play a critical role in ensuring the safe and timely transfer of children between states, while maintaining strong relationships with case management agencies and the Florida child welfare system.
Key Responsibilities:
- Serve as the primary point of contact for ICPC/OTI/TOJ processes, ensuring accurate and timely communication with case management agencies and other stakeholders.
- Process and monitor ICPC/OTI/TOJ requests, maintaining tracking logs and ensuring compliance with Florida state regulations.
- Assist case management agencies in resolving complaints and inquiries related to ICPC/OTI/TOJ.
- Develop and maintain weekly and monthly reporting mechanisms to track progress and ensure compliance.
- Research and implement policy updates or changes related to the ICPC/OTI/TOJ process.
- Provide expert testimony in court proceedings as required.
- Participate in special projects and initiatives as assigned.
- Maintain a positive working relationship with customers, residents, and coworkers, responding to phone calls, emails, and referrals within 24 hours.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree preferred; high school diploma and one to two years of administrative experience accepted.
- Ability to pass a Level II background check.
- Valid Florida driver's license and insurable by agency's current insurance carrier.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
- Strong customer service skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Ability to learn quickly and work under pressure.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Working Environment:
This role operates in a professional office environment, requiring the ability to lift up to 5 pounds regularly, stand, kneel, bend, sit, and walk. Ability to travel up to 5% and safely operate a motor vehicle.
